Clear Cache, History, & Cookies Chrome For Android

Google Chrome caches the web pages you visit so they can be accessed quicker the next time you visit a page. If you are a web developer looking to see the changes you made on a web page or you just want to clear some space on your Android, clear the cache, history, and cookies using these steps.

  1. While in Google Chrome, press the “Menu”  button and select “History“, or type “chrome://history/” in the address bar, tap “Go“.
  2. Select the “Clear Browsing Data…” button.
  3. Select “Advanced“.
  4. Check the “Browsing history“, “Cookies, site data“, or “Cached images and files” boxes, along with any other options as desired, then tap “Clear“.

Local Data – Option 2

  1. Open the “Chrome” browser app.
  2. Select the “Menu”  icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  3. Choose “Settings“.
  4. Select “Privacy” in the left pane.
  5. Select the “Menu”  icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  6. Choose “Clear browsing data“.
  7. Select “Advanced“.
  8. Check the “Browsing history“, “Cookies, site data“, or “Cached images and files” boxes, along with any
  9. From a browser, visit the Google – My Activity page.
  10. Do one of the following:
    • Select  next to any item you wish to remove, then select “Delete“.
    • From the left menu , select “Delete activity by“, choose the desired options, then select “Delete“.
